The operator behind the work

Built by a maker,
not a middle-man.

I'm Brandon Losacker, a creative director and brand strategist in Cincinnati. I've spent 20+ years doing the two things most companies pay two departments for: the strategy and the making.

The through-line

I learned to build
before I learned
to brand.

Brandon Losacker, creative director and brand strategist in Cincinnati

Before design software, there were tools with weight to them. I came up blue-collar, apprenticing as a pipefitter, learning that a thing is only as good as how it's actually built.

That never left. When I moved into creative, I refused to become the guy who hands work off and hopes. I direct the strategy and I cut the video. I write the positioning and I build the site. The seam between thinking and making is where most brands lose their spark, so I removed the seam.

Sixteen of those years were inside GE Capital and Synchrony, running creative and content at scale across NFL, MLB, and NCAA partnerships and Kroger activations. The rest were spent relaunching manufacturers, repositioning healthcare brands, and quietly running a referral-only video studio the whole time.

Principle 01

Own the whole pipeline

Strategy, design, video, and web from one head. Consistency isn't a review process. It's one person who cares.

Principle 02

Answer to the number

Pretty is table stakes. I build creative that moves traffic, engagement, and revenue, then I show the receipts.

Principle 03

Ship with swagger

Serious results, human voice. The work should sound like a person, not a brand-safe committee memo.

Off the clock

The stuff that
keeps the ideas
coming.

Creative direction is a muscle. I keep mine loaded outside of work.

I'm a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter with 20+ years in the Cincinnati music scene, still writing and producing, still chasing the right sound out of an original Juno-60. I write humor on the side, the kind that has landed in front of editors who don't hand out easy yeses. Different mediums, same instinct: find the true thing, then make it land.

It's not a hobby footnote. It's why the brand work doesn't sound like everyone else's.
